Raintree Market, an independent grocer in Baldwin, Louisiana, partnered with DUMAC to install Electronic Shelf Labels (ESLs) throughout the store. With support from our strategic partner, Associated Grocers in Baton Rouge, we fit every tag to the store’s existing fixtures, so nothing about the store’s setup had to change.
Before: Raintree’s fixtures ranged from standard shelves and coolers to wire racks, floor displays, bins, and shipper displays. Many ESL systems offer limited rail options, which can mean changing fixtures to fit the tags.
After: We used 5 rail types, 6 adapter types, and 3 display brackets to fit every fixture as it was. No fixtures were changed.
“I wanted the tags to provide accurate pricing while also matching the look of this store.” Countice LeBlanc, General Manager, Raintree Market
Before: Raintree needed clear, accurate pricing across the store, from tight cooler shelves and freezers to dairy cases and produce displays.
After: A wide range of tag sizes and styles let us match each tag to its spot. The tags sync with Raintree’s RORC POS, so shelf prices match the register.
“They listened to my ideas, paid attention to the details, and made sure the final design reflected the needs of this store rather than simply providing a standard installation.” Countice LeBlanc, General Manager, Raintree Market
“If anyone is considering electronic shelf tags for their supermarket, I strongly encourage them to take a serious look at the services that DUMAC has to offer.” Countice LeBlanc, General Manager, Raintree Market
