SYRACUSE, New York – DUMAC Business Systems, Inc., the leading solutions provider of Point-of-Sales (POS) systems to the grocery, quick service, and convenience store industries, is pleased to announce that Mr. Joe Jurich has been appointed Chief Operating Officer and will continue to serve as Chief Technology Officer, effective immediately. Serving in this dual role, Mr. Jurich will assume full management and overall operations of the company.

Most recently, Jurich served as president and chief executive officer of Retailer Owned Research Company (RORC), acquired by DUMAC in August 2015. Throughout his career, Jurich has had decades of exposure to multiple, industry standard POS systems and software. With this experience and breadth of knowledge, Jurich led the development of the RORC software that is now part of DUMAC's extensive install base throughout North and South America.

In addition to his significant software and POS experience, Mr. Jurich has held several management and senior management positions in the areas of information technology, market research, production, warehousing, and transportation. He has a strong background in supply chain management and understands the critical role POS systems play in the process of buying, distributing, and selling products. Mr. Jurich is also well versed in project management and has taught courses in process improvement at Gonzaga University.
Mr. Jurich holds an undergraduate degree in Operations Management and a M.B.A. from Loyola University of Chicago.
